Ex-PTO officers admits to theft

HERMITAGE — The second of two women charged with stealing from the Hermitage Parent-Teacher Organization has admitted wrongdoing.

Kelly M. Vocaire, 42, of 158 N. Buhl Farm Drive, Hermitage, pleaded guilty Friday to a charge of theft, a third-degree felony punishable by up to 3 1/2 to 7 years in prison.

As part of her plea, a charge of conspiracy was dropped.

Vocaire is accused of stealing $25,299 while she was treasurer of the organization.

Former PTO President, Gina M. Grata, 46, of 57 Concord Road, Hermitage, pleaded guilty in December to theft with the grading of a first-degree misdemeanor. She was sentenced in January to 5 years’ probation and $10,181 restitution, which she had already paid back.
