Woman injured in crash off Fredonia Road
DELAWARE TOWNSHIP – Linda Robakowski, 52, of Fredonia, suffered minor injuries after the 1995 Chevrolet Corsica she was driving slid off Fredonia Road in Delaware Township, becoming stuck in an embankment on the northbound lane. Three children in her car, ages 16, 10 and 6 were all restrained and were not injured, police said.
The incident happened at 3:21 p.m. Thursday and Robakowski, who was not wearing a seatbelt, was charged with speeding.
Man injured when car hits fence, barn
WILMINGTON TOWNSHIP – A 59-year-old Clarion man was injured when his 2014 Ford Escape slid off Mercer-New Wilmington Road in Wilmington Township and traveled through two fields and a wire fence before plowing into a barn, police said.
Joseph G. Rice, who was wearing a seatbelt, was taken to Jameson Hospital in New Castle after police said he lost control of his vehicle at 4:26 p.m. Monday. Rice wasn’t charged.
