Allen Dale Cozad

Reznor employee sang in choir at Bethany church

---- — Allen Dale Cozad of 286 McClelland Road, Findley Township, passed away Saturday (7-27-13) while vacationing in Williamsburg, Va. He was 56.

Mr. Cozad was born June 5, 1957, in Greenville to Milton D. Cozad and   Sherry Ringer.

He married Joan Rupert Cozad on June 22, 1985, and was employed at Reznor, Mercer.

The Navy veteran was a member of Bethany Presbyterian Church in Mercer, where he was a member of the choir.

Mr. Cozad was an avid sports fan, especially for the Pittsburgh Steelers.

He enjoyed traveling, woodworking and music

Surviving are: his wife, Joan, and daughter, Krystle Cozad, at home; his mother, Sherry Cozad, and his stepmother, Ora Cozad, both Grove City; two sisters, Kim Cozad-Dembec, Mercer; and Lynne Cozad-Hoar, Hamilton, Ontario, Canada; and a brother, Gary Cozad and his wife Barb, Mercer.

He was preceded in death by his father and a sister, Brenda Lee Przybylski.

Calling hours: 4 to 7 p.m. today (8-2-13) in CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME, 144 S. Pitt St., Mercer, and 10 a.m. to time of service Saturday (8-3-13) in Bethany Presbyterian Church, 100 W. Venango St., Mercer.

Funeral: 11 a.m. Saturday in the church, with the Rev. Rick Vogeley, pastor, officiating.

Burial: Findley (Township) Cemetery.
