Southwest Mercer County Regional police are asking for help in finding Zachariah R. Owens, 27, the third man charged in the May 13 shooting death of Andrew T. Walko.
Owens has been charged with second-degree murder, robbery, aggravated assault, carrying a firearm without a license, making terroristic threats, unlawful restraint and conspiracy to commit robbery.
The first man charged, Miguel J. Huey, 27, of Hermitage, pleaded guilty Monday to a charge of conspiracy to commit robbery and agreed to testify against Owens and Shawn E. Lee, 28, of Masury.
Huey testified at his plea hearing that Lee shot Walko during a robbery in Walko’s home at 823 Emerson Ave., Farrell.
Lee has been in jail on charges related to a June 24 burglary and robbery at a home on Dutch Lane, Hermitage. He was charged Tuesday in a warrant with homicide, conspiracy to commit robbery, robbery, aggravated assault, carrying a firearm without a license, making terroristic threats and unlawful restraint.
