Nicholas Z. Byler, 1226 W. Countyline Road, Jamestown, died at 7:45 a.m. Monday (8-25-08) in Greene Township, Mercer County. He was 25.
Mr. Byler was born March 25, 1983, in Greenville to Norman L. and Patricia E. Bidlack Byler.
He was employed as an assistant foreman for three years with Cawldell Tanks, Louisville, Ky.
He loved to hunt, fish, ride his motorcycle, and spend time with his dogs, Mesha, a Siberian husky, and Apache, a timberwolf.
He is survived by his fiance, Sunshine Slayton, Jamestown; his father, Norman L. Byler, Greenville; his mother, Patricia E. Byler, Mercer; three brothers, Joshua Byler, Harrisburg; Alex Byler, Jamestown; and Dustin Byler, Newton Falls, Ohio; his paternal grandparents, Harvey and Alma Byler, Hermitage; and his maternal grandparents, Brian and Alice Bidlack, Mercer.

Service: Funeral services at 8 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. John Barger, Jamestown United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial: Cremation will follow as per Mr. Byler’s wishes.
