On July 7, 1962, in what is now the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System, Kevin Foster Dimery was born to Edward James Dimery and Ruth Stewart. His grandparents were James Edward and Cliffie Dimery.
He attended Sharon High School.
While living in Pennsylvania, Kevin worked for the Cheesecake Factory. He later married Stephanie Dimery.
In his later years, Kevin moved to Lake Charles. There he worked for The Port of Lake.
As a child, Kevin was taught to love. He was kind, humble and loving. He was a best friend and treated others like they were his brothers and sisters. Kevin was very easy to talk to; he was a great listener.
Kevin was like a “gentle giant.” He loved his family, friends, his dogs and fishing.
He leaves to cherish his memories: his mother, Ruth Stewart, and his sister, Brenda Floyd Dimery, both Allentown, Pa.; his brother, Kenny James Dimery and his wife Sylvia, Lake Charles; his daughters, Alicia Renee Butler and her husband Desmond Butler and granddaughter Alayia Desirae Butler, all Columbus, Ohio; and Tiffany Yvette Burr and granddaughters, Timiah Ann Burr and Jaziah Anae Burr, all Lake Charles; his ex-wife, Stephanie Dimery, Kentucky; and nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
