Rose A. Hall

St. Michael’s Church member was homemaker


- — Rose A. Hall of Greenville passed away at 3:15 p.m. Saturday (2-8-14) at The Ridgewood at St. Paul’s, West Salem Township. She was 88.

Mrs. Hall was born April 16, 1925 in Ralph, Pa., to James and Mary Liberti Jovenall.

Rose was a graduate of Sharpsville High School.

She was a homemaker and previously had been employed as a sales clerk at the former JC Penney Co. in Greenville.

Rose was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville, and a lifetime member of American Legion Post  140 auxiliary.

She married Neil L. Hall on Oct. 25, 1946. He passed away Oct. 25, 2006.

In addition to her husband and her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Carmella Gizdic; and four brothers, Joseph Jovenall, Domenic Jovenall, Raymond Jovenall and James Jovenall.

She is survived by a daughter, Linda Rinella and her husband William, Greenville; a son, Larry J. Hall and his wife Sue, St. Joseph, Mich.; a sister-in-law, Nancy Jovenall, Sharpsville; a brother-in-law, Raymond Hall, Greenville; four grandchildren, Joel Rinella, Christopher Rinella and his fiance Mary Lynn Langietti, Cory Rinella and Angel Marr; five great-grandchildren, Derrick Rinella and his companion Emily Varney; Emily Rose Rinella, Julia Langietti, Ryan Marr and Chris Marr; and two great-great-grandchildren, Benjamin Rinella and Cecelia Rose Rinella.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Michael’s School Endowment Fund, 85 N. High St., Greenville.

Service: Funeral and committal services at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Christopher Barnes, parochial vicar of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville; and Rev. Stephen Hall, nephew of the deceased, co-officiating.

Burial: Shenango Valley Cemetery.
