Polk Center retiree was Meals on Wheels driver

---- — Lois M. Cunningham, a resident since 1988 of Pittsburgh Road, Irwin Township, Venango County (Harrisville), passed away at 4:20 p.m. Monday, April 15, 2013, in UPMC Mercy, Pittsburgh, after an illness since November 2012. She was 75.

Mrs. Cunningham was born Feb. 1, 1938, in Parkersburg, W.Va., to George and Justine Wharton Fraizer.

Lois was a homemaker and retired from Polk (Pa.) Center, where she was a caregiver for many years.

She was a member of Harrisville United Methodist Church.

She was driver for Meals on Wheels in the Harrisville area. Lois enjoyed playing cards, traveling back to West Virginia and the history there, and spending time with her family.

Her husband, Clarence Nelson Cunningham, whom she married in October 1963, passed away July 22, 2005.

Surviving are: two sons, Mark Cunningham and his wife Lisa, Newton, N.C.; and Kevin Cunningham and his wife Mary Kaye, Grove City; two grandchildren, Benjamin Colten Cunningham and Ashley Justine Cunningham; and two sisters, Sue Cosco and her husband Dominic, Vero Beach, Fla.; and Joyce Mendenhall and her husband David, Mineral Wells, W.Va.

Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Norman Frazier.

Calling hours: 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday (4-18-13) in CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME Inc., 306 Bessemer Ave., Grove City.

Service: Funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Friday (4-19-13) in the funeral home with the Rev. Willard Morse, visitation pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, Grove City, officiating.

Interment: Barkeyville Cemetery.
