Glenn was born July 2, 1937, in Sugar Creek Township, Venango County, to Robert Glenn Northcott and Mabel Montgomery Caldwell.
He was raised by his stepfather Ralph Caldwell.
Glenn worked as a truck driver for Werner Continental and was a former district manager for the Erie Times News.
He served in the U.S. Marine Corps.
On Sept. 10, 2003, he married Sharon Bothun, who survives at home.
Glenn was a member of Free and Accepted Masons Hebron Lodge 575, Mercer; Zem Zem Shrine, Erie; and the Girard American Legion.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by: a daughter, Cheri Young and her husband Mark; four sons, Scott Northcott, Jeff Northcott, Bob Northcott and his companion Terri, and Eric Northcott and his wife Nikki; eight stepchildren, Rick Harbaugh and his companion Nancy, Craig Harbaugh and his wife Rhonda, Steve Harbaugh and his companion Kimberly, Kathy and her husband Paul Gousik, David Harbaugh and his wife Amy, Greg Slater and his wife Margie, Brian Slater and his wife Lori, and Jennifer and her husband John Forbes; 38 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren.
Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather and a daughter, Teresa Northcott.
Memorial donations can be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Burial: Millbank Cemetery, Fairview Township.
