Myrle A. Ritchey

Zion Wesleyan Methodist member worked on trucks

-----

- — Myrle A. Ritchey, 77, of Stoneboro, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, Dec. 25, 2013. He received the greatest Christmas present ever: To see Jesus.

He was a member of Zion Wesleyan Methodist Church where he, his wife and daughter attended regularly.

He and his wife together carried a constant concern for the spiritual welfare of their family, daily leading in family devotions and prayers for each one.

He provided for his young family by working at General Electric Corp. in Erie for a period of time, then went on to driving truck for many years.

The past 30 years, Myrle worked as mechanic on a fleet of trucks for Primo Distributers in Franklin for Cellone’s Bakery of Pittsburgh.

He was an avid hunter and passed that heritage to his sons, grandchildren and great-grandson.

He was dearly beloved by his big family and each one holds personal treasures in their heart from husband, daddy and grandfather.

He is survived by: his loving wife, Shirley Hoover Ritchey, whom he married in 1955; and children, Pamela Reitz, Salem, Ohio; Clinton and his wife Darla, Wheatland, Wyo.; Bonnie Ritchey, Stoneboro; Phyllis and her husband Bob Thompson, Tuscon, Ariz.; Clyde Ritchey, Hartstown; and Jo Ann Ritchey, Cuba, N.M.
