Joseph ‘Joe’ F. Bukas Jr.

Masury man known for humor attended centers

---- — Joseph “Joe” F. Bukas Jr. of Masury peacefully passed away at 3:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, 2013, while in the Intensive Care Unit of St. Joseph’s Medical Center, Warren, after a period of declining health. He was 58.

Mr. Bukas was born May 27, 1954, in Baltimore, a son to Joseph F. Bukas Sr. and Dorothy Bukas and brother to Buddy, Jay and Marilyn Bukas.

He was Protestant by faith and had attended the Fairhaven Sheltered Workshop from 1997 to 2010, followed by the Nicholson Center, Warren, officially retiring this past April 2012.

Joe enjoyed a trip to watch a Mahoning Valley Scrappers game, always had a great sense of humor, loved being around people and was very social and always playful.

Calling hours: Time of gathering from 1 p.m. to time of service Saturday (3-23-13 in BRICELAND FUNERAL SERVICE, 379 state Route 7 SE, Brookfield.

Service: Funeral service in his honor at 3 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home.

Laid to rest: Belmont Park Cemetery, Youngstown.
