Arleen Marie Bianco

Homemaker enjoyed hosting, destination trips

---- — Arleen Marie Bianco of Sharon passed away peacefully after a brief battle with cancer at 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 13, 2013, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System, with her loving family by her side. She was 74.

Mrs. Bianco was born Dec. 15, 1938, in Sharon, a daughter of Steven and Mary Biro Keryan.

She was a lifelong area resident and a 1956 graduate of Hickory High School, Hermitage.

Mrs. Bianco was a member of Our Lady of Fatima-St. Ann Church, Farrell.

Prior to her marriage, she was employed at the former Century Foods and later at a family pizza shop, both in what is now Hermitage.

Arleen enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She cherished the many trips to Canada, Cedar Point, Deer Park and going to the family camp in the Allegheny Mountains. She also enjoyed ceramics, crafts, sewing and her card club. More recently, she loved trying her luck at the casinos in Pennsylvania and New York.

An exceptional homemaker, Arleen was an excellent cook and most happy when hosting holiday dinners for her family.

Surviving are: her husband of 53 years, Raymond F. Bianco, a local barber for many years, whom she married Feb. 15, 1960, in Our Lady of Fatima Church; three sons, Raymond S. Bianco and his wife Tammy, Sharpsville; Mark Bianco and his wife Kelly, Brookfield; and Michael Bianco and his wife Sonya, Sharon; a daughter, Melissa Bianco, Reston, Va.; five grandchildren, Stephanie, Shelby, Mark, Andrew and Nathaniel; six stepgrandchildren; and a great-grandchild.

She also leaves two brothers, Richard Keryan and his wife Marcia, Hermitage; and Jerry Keryan, Sharon; and several nieces and nephews.

Arleen was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Nancy Jane Keryan.

The family suggests memorial contributions be made to American Cancer Society, 3208 B Wilmington Road, Box 5037, New Castle, PA 16105.
