Sharpsville High grad worked for Scott Molding


---- — Memorial service will be Saturday for Carol Lee Campbell, Atwater, Ohio, who passed away June 21, 2013, in Hospitality Care Center, Hermitage, after a prolonged illness. She was 68.

Carol was born Dec. 11, 1944, to Paul Campbell and Ruth K. Miller in Sharon. She graduated from Sharpsville High School in 1962, and attended Youngstown Business College for two years. Carol was a molder for Scott Molding Co.

Carol enjoyed pets, especially her cats Tab, and Cody, and her dog Pebbles. She also enjoyed fishing, being outdoors (water), collecting mice ornaments and knick-knacks. She liked to watch movies, especially old films; doing crossword puzzles; sitting on her front deck; and visiting with her neighbors. She was an excellent cook and her family enjoyed many holiday meals with her and at her home.

She was an avid Steelers fan and especially liked to listen to Diana Ross.

Carol is survived by: a daughter, Danielle Lentine of Cleveland; three sisters, Karen Miller of Cochranton; Connie Miller of Bartow, Fla.; and Debbie (Bob) Barrie, Dayton, Ohio; two brothers, Brian Miller, West Middlesex; and Bradley Miller, Sharpsville; and two grandchildren, Curtis and Daniel Lentine, and a great-grandson, Chance Daniel Lentine, all of Cleveland.

She was preceded in death by her father, Paul Campbell; her mother, Ruth K. Miller; her stepfather, James Miller; her grandparents, James and Emma Dallas; and a close family friend, Gladys “Jean” Thompson, who was always involved with many family gatherings and holiday celebrations.

Memorial service: 11 a.m. Saturday (8-3-13) in DONALDSON-MOHNEY FUNERAL HOME, 124 Main St., Sharpsville, with the Rev. Cindy Swogger officiating.

Burial: cremation by the funeral home.
