BESSEMER – Brenda L. Pacai of Bessemer, Lawrence County, passed away Wednesday, June 26, 2013, in her home after an extended illness. She was 55.
Mrs. Pacai was born Feb. 4, 1958, in Sharon to Paul W. Clark Sr. and Antoinette Clark.
She graduated from Farrell High School and attended Youngstown State University.
She worked at National Life and Accident Insurance in Sharon and Wal-Mart in New Castle before being employed for more than 14 years at Liberty Mutual Insurance in New Castle until her death.
In 1983, Brenda married Mark Pacai of Wampum, Lawrence County. Later they made their home in Bessemer, raising their two sons, Christopher and Kyle, both of Bessemer, who brought her the most joy in her life.
She loved spending time with her children, family and friends. She loved to go to the casinos and play bingo. She was very artistic, skilled in crafting and enjoyed sewing, crocheting, knitting and decorating her home.
Shopping was her passion.
Besides her husband and sons, she leaves behind her mother, Antoinette Clark, West Middlesex; three sisters, Anna Blair and her husband Wayne, Greenville; Linda Osborne and her husband Keith, New Wilmington; and Marcie Wirtjes and her husband George, West Middlesex; and two brothers, Paul Clark Jr., Sharon; and Kenneth Clark, Colona, Ill.
She also leaves three nieces, Shawnee and Sierra Blair, both Greenville, who are also her goddaughters; and Annie Clark, Peoria, Ill.; and three nephews, Justin Clark, Colona, serving in Japan at this time; Andrew Wirtjes, West Middlesex; and Nathan Clark, Colona.
Brenda was preceded in death by her father, Paul Clark Sr.; her maternal grandparents, Lawrence and Mary Gargano; and her paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Mildred Clark.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to her sons, Christopher and Kyle Pacai of Bessemer.
