Sean Michael Bobbie

2011 Hickory grad, athlete worked at Firestone


---- — A funeral service will be held Sunday for Sean Michael Bobbie of Hermitage. He passed away at 10 p.m. Monday, June 24, 2013, in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was 20.

Mr. Bobbie was born Dec. 10, 1992, in Sharon, a son of Paul and Patricia Thomas Bobbie.

A lifelong area resident, he was a 2011 graduate of Hickory High School, Hermitage, where he excelled in wrestling and football.

Sean was employed as a mechanic for Firestone Complete Auto Care in Hermitage.  

He attended Grace Chapel Community Church, Hermitage.

Sean enjoyed fishing, riding motocross and watching mixed martial arts wrestling. He was an avid Penn State football and Miami Dolphins fan. Most of all, he enjoyed the time he spent with family and friends. Sean will be especially missed by his dog Rosie and cat Maddie.

Surviving are: his mother, Patricia Bobbie, Hermitage; his father, Paul Bobbie, Farrell; two brothers, Daniel Bobbie and his fiancée Renee Hausser, Sharpsville; and Mark Bobbie, Hermitage; a niece, Myah Bobbie; his maternal grandfather, Gale Thomas; and his paternal grandmother, Kay Gallagher.

Sean is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles and cousins, and his best and loyal friend, Bo Wallace.

Sean was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Pauline Thomas; and paternal grandfather, Michael Bobbie.

Memorial contributions may be made in Sean’s name to American Cancer Society, 320 Bilmar Drive, Pittsburgh, PA 15205; or a charity of the donor’s choice.
