Findley Township woman loved family, camping


---- — A funeral service will be held Wednesday for Darcy L. Fetty of 10 Pardoe Alley, Findley Township (Mercer). She passed away unexpectedly of natural causes at 10 p.m. Saturday (6-29-13) in the emergency room of Grove City Medical Center, Pine  Township. She was 40.

Born April 24, 1973, in Greenville, Ms. Fetty was a daughter of Frebern R. “Buck” Kinney and Arlene D. Galentine Kinney.

Darcy attended Lakeview High School.

She had worked at Kristyak’s Corner, Sandy Lake, and most recently, Wal-Mart of Grove City.

Darcy enjoyed the outdoors and going camping. Most of all, she loved spending time with her girls and grandson.

Survivors include her companion, Kenneth T. Fleet, at home; two daughters, Brittany N. Fleet and her husband Benjamin, Sandy Lake; and Krista L. Fetty and her companion Cody A. Blair, Fredonia; a grandson, Bentley Fleet, Sandy Lake; her parents, Buck and Arlene Kinney, Fredonia; a sister, Carrie A. Marini and her husband Seabrook, Sandy Lake; and two brothers, Michael R. Kinney and his wife Sonja, Kerkhoven, Minn.; and Mark L. Kinney and his wife Heidi, Clarks Mills.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents; an infant brother, Edward Leroy Kinney; an aunt, Darlene Crocker; and a cousin, Karen Dayrit.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family in care of the funeral home.

Calling hours: 5:30 p.m. to time of service Wednesday (7-3-13) in SCOTT A. BLACK FUNERAL HOME, 99 Franklin St., Stoneboro. The family had requested everyone dress casual.

Service: Funeral service at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral home with the Rev. Joe Kuehner, Student Ministries pastor at Sandy Lake Wesleyan Church, officiating.

Inurnment: Oak Hill Cemetery, Sandy Lake Township.
