Lowell C. ‘Bill’ Psensky

Stoneboro-area man was U.S. Steel retiree


---- — Lowell C. “Bill” Psensky of Lake Township (Stoneboro), formerly of Pittsburgh, passed away at 11:35 a.m. Sunday (6-23-13) in his home after an extended illness. He was 71.

Born July 17, 1941, in Pittsburgh, Mr. Psensky was a son of Peter and Lenora Meyers Psensky.

He was a 1960 graduate of Snowden High School.

Bill retired in 1988 after 22 years as a machinist from U.S. Steel, Homestead Works, Pittsburgh.

Mr. Psensky was an honorably discharged Army peacetime veteran and a member of American Legion Post 712, Pittsburgh.

He loved gardening and planting things but, most of all, was an avid fisherman and loved going fishing. 

His wife, the former Mary M. Yost, whom he married Aug. 6, 1966, preceded him in death Nov. 8, 1995.

Survivors include twin sons, Timothy W. Psensky and his wife Anne, Knoxville, Tenn.; and Thomas W. Psensky and his wife Shannon, Lake Hopatcong, N.J.; and five grandchildren.

Besides his wife, he was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers.

Service: Funeral service at 1 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.

Interment: Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Jackson Township.
