Amy Lee Montgomery of Grove City, passed away in her home on Sunday evening, March 31, 2013. She was 46.

Miss Montgomery was born Sept. 11, 1966, in Grove City to Robert F. and Sandra L. Buckley Montgomery.

She was a graduate of Grove City High School, class of 1984, and Alderson-Broaddus College, Philippi, W.Va., class of 1988, where she earned her bachelor of science degree in nursing.

Following college, she began the first 18 months of her career in nursing in 1990 at Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, and later joined the staff of United Community Hospital, now Grove City Medical Center, Pine Township, where she had been a registered nurse for the past 23 years in recovery and ambulatory care.

Amy was a member of Grace United Methodist Church, Grove City, where she often was a liturgist for Sunday worship.

She enjoyed family time, scrapbooking, traveling, especially going on cruises, and spending time with her two nieces, Morgan and Emma, whom she greatly adored.

She was an avid Duke and Penn State fan.

She is survived by her parents, Bob and Sandra Montgomery, Grove City; a brother, Alan Montgomery and his wife Amy Lynn, Seven Fields, Cranberry Township; two nieces and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Amy was preceded in death by her grandparents, Glenn and Marjorie Buckley; and Lew and Catherine Montgomery.

Service: Funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Thursday (4-4-13) in Grace United Methodist Church, 210 S. Broad St., Grove City, with the Rev. Howard Greenfield, senior pastor, and the Rev. Willard Morse, visitation pastor, both of the church, co-officiating.

Interment: Oak Hill Cemetery, Sandy Lake Township.
