Lois W. Goodlin of St. Paul’s, West Salem Township, formerly of 4 E. Greenville Drive, Greenville, passed away at 7:35 a.m. Sunday (10-20-13) following an extended illness at St. Paul’s. She was 86.
She was born July 5, 1927, in Greenville to Joseph G. and Mary Grace (McClure) Williamson.
Lois was a 1945 graduate of the former Penn High School and a member of Church of Christ in Shenango.
She was a homemaker and enjoyed knitting, sewing, and cooking.
Lois is survived by her husband, Alfred B. Goodlin, at home, whom she married Dec. 18, 1946.
Also surviving are a son, Thomas Goodlin and his wife JoAnn, Jamestown; two daughters, Susan Lynch and her husband Robert, Greenville; and Mary Beth Alexander and her husband James, Fredonia; 10 grandchildren, Larry Goodlin and his wife Lori, Greenville; Thomas Goodlin II and his wife Theresa, Jamestown; Kimberly (Lynch) Weaver and her husband Jon, Greenville; Jeffrey Lynch and his wife Jill, Poland, Ohio; Wendi (Goodlin) Arnold and her husband Tod, Jamestown; Kelly (Lynch) Beh and her husband Jeff, Haverford, Pa.; Julie (Alexander) Springer and her husband Dennis, Fredonia; Kristy (Lynch) Wright and her husband Timothy, Twentynine Palms, Calif.; Andrew Alexander and his wife Jennifer, Sandy Lake; and Jennifer (Alexander) Chalupka and her husband William, Sharpsville; and 28 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Marian Williamson and Helen Reash; and a brother, Dean G. Williamson.
