Animal lover worked 17 years at Reznor


- — Pamela L. Wilson, 223 N. Spring Road, Mercer, passed away in her residence at 1:26 p.m. Saturday (11-9-13) after a courageous eight-year battle with cancer. She was 49.

Mrs. Wilson was born in Grove City on March 8, 1964, a daughter of Norman and Gail Brant Bestwick.

She married Timothy Wilson on Oct. 24, 1981.

Pamela worked at Reznor – a unit of Thomas and Betts – for 17 years, was of the Presbyterian faith and was a huge animal lover who loved her collies.

She is survived by: her husband, at home; a daughter, Amber and her husband, William Howlett, Toms River, N.J.; two sons, Jason Wilson and his wife Lauren, Grove City; and Andrew Wilson, at home; her parents, Norman and Gail Bestwick, Jackson Center; two sisters, Deborah Farrell and her husband Patrick, Jackson Center; and Gail Myers, Mercer; a brother, Bruce Bestwick, Sandy Lake; and her mother-in-law, Dorothy Wilson.

She was preceded in death by: a brother, Dennis Bestwick; her father-in-law, John Wilson; and her maternal and paternal grandparents.

Memorial contributions may be made to Sharon Regional Hospice and Palliative Care or Cancer Care Center, both 2320 Highland Road, Hermitage, PA 16148.
