- — Annetta M. Rodgers Jordan, 960 Mercer-Grove City Road, Findley Township, passed away at 2:24 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 22, 2013, at her residence after a brief illness. She was 89.

Born July 23, 1924, in Springfield Township to Mary Wilda Byers Rodgers and Sherman Dean Rodgers, she married Cecil Guy Jordan on March 30, 1946. He died Dec. 12, 1987.

She was a homemaker.

Mrs. Jordan was a member of Mercer United Methodist Church, the 50-Plus Club and the Ruth Esther Rebecca Circle.

She was very active in the kitchen and with funeral dinners at the church.

Mrs. Jordan was a member of Women of the Moose in Mercer. Her hobbies included sewing, quilting, crotcheting, vegetable gardening, reading, doing puzzles and playing cards and dominos.

She is survived by: two daughters, Mary Ellen, wife of Jack Russell, Mercer; and Cathy J. Lindquist, Harrisburg; a son, David Guy Jordan, Sharpsville; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

 In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Kenneth, Dean and John Rodgers, and a grandson, Jason Richard Lindquist.

Burial: Old Findley Cemetery, Findley Township.
