Antoinette “Toni” M. Osborne of Methodist Road, Sugar Grove Township, passed away Wednesday evening (6-11-14) in UPMC Horizon, Greenville, after a brief battle with cancer. She was 76.
Mrs. Osborne was born April 7, 1938, in Fredonia to Joachim and Mary Wickes Balut.
She was a 1956 graduate of Lakeview High School.
Mrs. Osborne worked as a ward secretary from 1964 until her retirement in 1999 at the former Greenville Regional Hospital.
She was a member of St. Michael’s Church, Greenville.
Toni loved to babysit and watched three special children for eight years, Kathy, Kasey and Krystal, daughters of Beth and Rich Williams.
She enjoyed crafts and needlework and loved to bake and cook.
On April 21, 1958, she married Charles Osborne; he passed away April 29, 2004.
She is survived by three daughters, Joanne Polkabla and her husband Phillip, Greenville; Connie Moose and her husband Denny, Mercer; and Suzanne Sum and her husband Bill, Jamestown; two sisters; a nephew, Nate Balut, Greenville; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers; a daughter, Marianne Osborne; and a granddaughter.

Service: Mass of Christian burial at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in St. Michael’s Church, Greenville, with the Rev. Christopher Barnes, parochial vicar, as celebrant.
