Margaret L. Feigert

West Hill Ministries volunteer liked to travel

- — Margaret L. Feigert of Sharon passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon, June 15, 2014, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System after a brief illness. She was 79.

Mrs. Feigert was born Nov. 2, 1934, in West Middlesex, a daughter of Charles and Elizabeth Dubrasky Palmer.

She was a graduate of West Middlesex High School.

Margaret was a longtime volunteer for West Hill Ministries, Sharon, and a member of the West Middlesex Alumni Association and First Baptist Church of Sharon.

She bowled with the Friday morning Pin Setters League at Sunset Lanes, Farrell, for several years. Margaret enjoyed traveling and going camping with her family.

On Nov. 12, 1953, she married Kenneth E. Feigert Sr.; he died Feb. 22, 2013.

She is survived by: her daughter, Cynthia L. Feigert, Hermitage; her son, Kenneth E. Feigert Jr. and his wife Teresa, Hubbard; two grandsons, Mark and Jonathan Feigert; two sisters, Dorothy Sweitzer, Yucaypa, Calif.; and Betty Loosemore, Pulaski Township, Lawrence County; and a brother, David Palmer and his wife Rose, and a sister-in-law, Connie Palmer, all West Middlesex.

Besides her husband, Margaret was preceded in death by her parents; her grandson, Terrence Feigert, and a brother, Charles Palmer.

The family would like the thank the nursing staff of the sixth floor at Sharon Regional Health System and the staff of S.R.H.S Hospice and Palliative Care whose compassion and kindness was greatly appreciated.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to West Hill Ministries, 301 W. State St., Sharon, PA 16146.

Service: Memorial service at 7 p.m. Thursday in the funeral home with the Rev. John M. Trojak, pastor of First Baptist Church, Sharon, officiating.

Interment: Cremation services provided by the funeral home with interment in Haywood Cemetery, West Middlesex.
