- — A funeral service will be held Tuesday for Brytney LeighAnne Tucci, 2021 Madison St., Hermitage, who passed away peacefully in the arms of her parents early Friday morning, January 14, 2014, in UPMC Children’s Hospital, Pittsburgh, from complications of hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis (HLH). Brytney was 13 and a seventh-grader in the Hermitage School District.

She was born Sept. 19, 2000, in Farrell, a daughter of Bradley C. and Christine M. Weiser Tucci.

Brytney loved the simple things in life such as her close relationships over the years with her private duty nurses and television shows such as “Barney” and “Sesame Street”; her favorite character was Elmo. She was an angel on earth and her family will miss her dearly.

In addition to her parents, she is survived by: her brother, Tyler R. George, and her grandfather, Gerald Tucci, all at home, and several aunts, uncles, and cousins who loved her and will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother, Carol Tucci; and her maternal grandparents, Barbara Ann and Clarence “Dick” Weiser; her aunt, Robin Tucci -Snyder; an uncle, Albert Weiser; and two cousins, Brian L. Tucci and Troy Budetich Jr.
