Patricia Louise ‘Patti Lou’ Busco

First Presbyterian member liked to fish at Shenango

Patricia Louise “Patti Lou” Busco, Meek Street, Sharon, passed away at 5 p.m. Monday (3-25-13) in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh, after an extended illness. She was 59.

She was born July 27, 1953, in Sewickley, a daughter of Charles Austin and Patricia A. Murphy Durf.

She graduated from Hickory High School, Hermitage, in 1971. She later went back to school at the former Shenango Valley School of Business, Sharon, where she was enrolled in secretarial curriculum.

She worked as a secretary for the former Peter J. Schmidt Co., Sharon; the Primary Health Network; and Greenville Metals, Transfer. She more recently worked in the housekeeping department at UPMC Horizon’s Farrell hospital.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Sharon and in past years she helped with its day care program.

She enjoyed camping and fishing with her family along the banks of Shenango River Lake. She also was an avid reader.

Her husband Nick R. Busco whom she married Nov. 13, 1971, survives at home.

She also leaves: her two sons, Michael R. Busco and Timothy A. Busco, two granddaughters, Bailey R. Busco and Raeann A. Busco, a sister Brenda L. Fabian and her husband John, all of Sharon; a brother Charles Austin Durf and his companion Debbie Post, Franklin; and several nieces and nephews.

Her family suggests that anyone wishing to make a contribution in her memory to consider First Presbyterian Church, 600 E. State St., Sharon, PA 16146.
