St. Michael’s member was medical transcriptionist


---- — Karla J. Hart of 73 N. Race St., Greenville, passed away unexpectedly Saturday afternoon (4-13-13) at home. She was 65.

Ms. Hart was born March 6, 1948, in Sharon to Carl and A. Kathryn Jones Hart.

She was a 1966 graduate of the former Kennedy Christian High School, and a graduate of the Shenango Valley School of Business.

For the past 45 years, she had been employed as a medical transcriptionist at UPMC Horizon, Greenville.

She was a member of St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville.

She was a past member of the American Business Womens Association and had previously served as a board member with the Greenville Midget Football Program. She was an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers and Pittsburgh Penguins, and loved spending time with her granddaughters.

Surviving are: a son, Nate Hart of Greenville; a sister, Shirley Snyder of Greenville; and two granddaughters, Hannah Kathryn Hart and Sophia Noelle Hart.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral: Mass of Christian burial at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday (4-17-13) at St. Michael Roman Catholic Church, Greenville, with the Rev. Christopher Barnes, parochial vicar, as celebrant.

Burial: Brookfield Township Cemetery.
