Karen L. Rabold of 410 Turner Station Road, Coolspring Township (Mercer), passed away at her sister’s home in Hermitage on Saturday, April 12, 2014, after an extended illness. She was 66.
Mrs. Rabold was born May 11, 1947, in Sharon, a daughter of Rudolph Detelich and Catherine L. Krantz Detelich.
A graduate of Hickory High School, Hermitage, she married Ronald Robert Rabold Sr., on May 3, 1969. He died on March 10, 2011.
Mrs. Rabold was office manager for Dr. Iftikhar A. Chatha.
She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Mercer, where she was a member of the Cantor Choir. She belonged to the Mercer County Antique Power Association.
Mrs. Rabold enjoyed baking for her family.
She is survived by two daughters, Shari Anna Rabold, at home; and Michelle R., wife of Dennis Adams, Clarion; one son, Ronald R. Rabold, Grove City; two sisters, Sandra Bailey, Hermitage; and Cheryl, wife of Ronald Patterson, Sharpsville; and six grandchildren and one great-grandson.
In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents; and one brother, Rudolph George Detelich.

Calling hours: 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday (4-15-15) in CUNNINGHAM FUNERAL HOME, 144 S. Pitt St., Mercer. A wake service will be held at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday in the funeral home.
Service: Mass at 10 a.m. Wednesday (4-15-14) in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 100 Penn Ave., Mercer, with the Rev. James Kennelley, pastor, officiating.
Burial: Westside Cemetery.
