Loueva ‘Lou’ Jane Reichart

---- — Loueva “Lou” Jane Reichart of Countryside Convalescent Home, East Lackawannock Township, formerly of 97 Beech Road, West Salem Township, passed away after an extended illness at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2013, in the nursing home. She was 81.

Mrs. Reichart was born Aug. 7, 1931, in Greene County to Barney Abraham and Mary Edna Courtwright Morris.

Lou was a homemaker and enjoyed working with children, helping people and gardening.

She was a devout Christian who loved going to church and was a member of Greenville Alliance Church.

Her husband, Edward Reichart, whom she married July 28, 1952, preceded her in death April 19, 1999.

Lou is survived by two sisters, Edith Mott and her husband Joe; and Betty Miller, all Greenville; a brother, Albert Morris, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews including her niece who once resided with her, Jane Ellen Dean Wolfgang and her husband Carl, Emlenton, Pa.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Helen Mae Dean and Evelyn “Evy” Cook.

Service: Funeral service at 2 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Nathan Seckinger, pastor of Greenville Alliance Church, officiating.

Burial: With committal prayers to follow the service at West Side Cemetery, South Pymatuning Township.
