Marjorie I. Pollock

Former Wheatland resident was homemaker


---- — Marjorie I. Pollock, 85, of Clepper Manor, Sharon, formerly of Wheatland, passed away at 3 p.m. Friday, July 26, in UPMC Horizon, Farrell.

Born in Sharpsville on July 30, 1927, Marjorie is a daughter of William L. and Alice Bole Ewing.

A homemaker most of her life, Marjorie worked at G.C. Murphy Co. in Sharon in the late 1940s.

On Feb. 3, 1951, she married Joseph R. Pollock; he passed away Aug. 25, 1995.

Marjorie is survived by four children, Linda and David Antonini, Carmichael, Pa.; Robert and Michaelene Pollock, Hermitage; Craig Pollock, Farrell; and Joseph Pollock, Beaver; a sister, Irene DeBonis, Transfer; and nine grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, Marjorie was preceded in death by five brothers, Francis, John, George, Adam and Lawrence Ewing; and four sisters, Alice Lynn, Mary McNeelege, Lillian Perry and Geraldine Goodnight.

Service: Private funeral services at 11 a.m. Monday (7-29-13) in Harold W. Stevenson Funeral Home, 264 E. State St., Sharon.

Interment: St. Michael's Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Hermitage.
