Centenarian formerly of Farrell worked at GATX


---- — Eva Muriel Siciliano, formerly of 1043 Fruit Ave., Farrell, died at 7:20 p.m. Sunday (7-28-13) in Nugent Convalescent Home, Hermitage. She was 103.

She was born July 8, 1910, in Youngstown to Reginald and Agnes (Jones) Ayers.

She was a 1929 graduate of Brookfield High School.

She married Eugene J. Siciliano on Oct. 10, 1953. He preceded her in death on Sept. 17, 1990.

She worked for 27 years as a secretary at the former Masury plant of General American Transportation Corp., retiring in 1961.

She was a member of Our Lady of Fatima-St. Ann Church, Farrell.

She enjoyed bridge card clubs, bowling and bus trips. She loved to plant flowers and garden and enjoyed family night card games.

She also enjoyed going to Hermitage senior center activities.

She is survived by a sister, Ruth Wimer, Warren, Ohio; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Daisy Adams; and three brothers, George, Frank and John Ayers.

Burial: St. Anthony’s Cemetery, Hermitage.
