Virginia M. Foltz of Burghill passed away Tuesday morning, Dec. 3, 2013, in St. Elizabeth Health Center, Youngstown. She was 82.
She was born June 27, 1931, in Sharpsville, a daughter of John and Margaret Rector Fout.
She was a 1949 graduate of Hickory High School, Hermitage.
She was a homemaker all of her life, working only for a short time many years ago for the former Dalo Nut Shoppe in Sharon.
Virginia belonged to Orangeville United Methodist Church and was a Cub Scout and Brownie leader. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, counted cross-stitching, doing crossword puzzles and reading.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Foltz Sr., whom she married April 21, 1951. He passed away on May 25, 2010.
She is survived by: two daughters, Delores Dziedzic and her husband Fred, Warren, Ohio; and Virginia Garrett, Mars Hill, Maine; three sons, Donald Foltz Jr., Columbus, Ohio; Lawrence and his wife Sue Foltz, Orangeville; and Peter Foltz, Warren; 10 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and a brother, Eugene Fout, Sharpsville.
Besides her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Gary Foltz; two sisters; and two brothers.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Virginia’s name to the Warren Family Mission, 361 Elm Road, Warren, OH 44483.
