Mary enjoyed cooking, baking, canning and traveling with her husband. She had been active with the Brookfield Parent Teacher Association while her children were in school.

Survivors include: her daughter, Marianne Kreitner and her husband Ronald, Baltimore; her son, Robert “Butch” Filipovich and his wife Patricia, Brookfield; her sister, Catherine Orenchak, Hermitage; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Rudy, on Oct. 13, 2006; three brothers, Charles, Andrew and John Orenchak; and her sister, Ann DeMay.

As an expression of sympathy, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Second Harvest Food Bank, 2805 Salt Springs Road, Youngstown, OH 44509.
