Carrie L. Reynolds, Sandy Lake, passed away unexpectedly Wednesday, Jan. 15, 2014, in Bloomington, Ind. of natural causes. She was 36.
Born Sept. 25, 1977, in Greenville, she was a daughter of Thomas M. and Kathie J. Muschick Seddon.
Mrs. Reynolds was a 1996 graduate of Lakeview High School.
After graduation she planned to pursue a career in nursing and occupational therapy. However, she took time to become a mother after giving birth to son Brentton.
She married Shane D. Reynolds on May 2, 1997, and that fall returned to school at Penn State Shenango, studying occupational therapy until 1998. She transferred to Clarion University to study nursing in 1999.
That year she gave birth to their second child, Ashlee. After she was born, Carrie realized that her life’s true calling was to be a homemaker as a devoted mother and wife, a job she always loved and cherished. She loved the time she spent caring for her family and will be greatly missed.
Growing up, she loved riding horses and shared that passion with her best friends Shawna (Watts) Reed and Sara (Brocklehurst) Yeagley. She also enjoyed snow skiing.
She is survived by her husband Shane; her daughter, Ashlee M. Reynolds; and her son Brentton L. Reynolds, all at home; her father, Thomas M. Seddon; her brother, Greg A. Seddon; and her maternal grandmother, Jeanne Muschick Winger and stepfather Daniel W. Allen, all Sandy Lake; her mother-in-law, Sherry M. Reynolds, Stoneboro; and her brothers-in-law, Travis S. Reynolds, Key West, Fla.; and Dennis Notareschi, Montgomery, Ala.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Kathie J. (Muschick) Allen; her sister, Polly Ann (Seddon) Notareschi; her grandparents, Edward and Theresa Seddon, and Robert Muschick; and her father-in-law, Arlo S. Reynolds.
