Camilla R. Crill

St. Joe’s member worked at former county home


- — A memorial Mass has been set for Camilla R. Crill of 2250 Shenango Valley Freeway, No. 6,  Hermitage, who passed away at 4:15 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2014, in John XXIII Home, Hermitage, after a brief illness. She was 87.

Mrs. Crill was born Dec. 28, 1926, in Sharon, a daughter of Croce and Adeline Cenci Rossetti.

She was a 1945 graduate of Sharon High School.

Camilla had worked as a fiscal assistant at the former Mercer County Home and Hospital in Mercer for 30 years. In her younger years, she worked for the former Protected Home Circle life insurance company in Sharon.

As a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Sharon, Mrs. Crill belonged to its Women’s Guild.

She enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family.

Her husband, Stewart A. Crill, whom she married July 20, 1963, survives at home.

She also leaves her son, Martin, Hermitage; a sister,  Jacqueline Boca, Scottsdale, Ariz.; a brother, Alex Rossetti and his wife Norma, Sharpsville; along with a granddaughter and two great-granddaughters.

Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to a charity of the donor’s choice.

Service: Memorial Mass at 10 a.m. Saturday (5-17-14) in St. Joseph’s Church, Sharon, with the Rev. Glenn R. Whitman, pastor, as celebrant.
