Mary Jane Enos

Sharpsville woman was nursery school worker

- — Mrs. Enos was born Nov. 23, 1930, in Ashtabula, Ohio, to Michael and Katherine Kish Seaman.

Mary Jane worked at Sharpsville Nursery School.

She was a member of St. Joseph’s Church in Sharon.

Mary Jane enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She liked bird watching, bird feeding, reading and working on puzzles. She was an avid Cleveland Indians and Browns fan.

Mary Jane especially enjoyed watching her grandchildren while they participated in sports and activities.

On July 14, 1951, she married Sylvester E. “Slip” Enos Jr. He passed away June 27, 2006.

Surviving are: her two daughters, Karen E. and her husband Richard Perfilio, and Maria L. Enos, with whom Mary Jane lived, all Sharpsville; four sons, Sylvester E. “Buzz” Enos III and his wife Sarah, Sharon; Craig M. Enos and his wife Barb, Oberlin, Ohio; David P. Enos, Farrell; and Christopher Enos and his wife Julie, Sharpsville; a sister, Catherine Bordeaux, Ashtabula; two brothers, Mitch Seaman, Geneva, Ohio; and Richard Seaman and his wife Connie, Ravenna, Ohio; and seven grandchildren, Michael Enos, Mary Katherine Enos, Charlee Enos, Sylvester E. Enos IV, Christopher Enos, Nicholas Enos and Matthew Enos.

Besides her husband, Sylvester E. “Slip” Enos Jr., she was preceded in death by her father, Michael Seaman; her mother, Katherine Seaman; a daughter, Cheryl A. Enos; and a brother, Joseph Seaman.

Service: Mass of Christian burial at 10 a.m. today (2-1-14) in St. Joseph’s Church, Sharon, with the Rev. Glenn R. Whitman, pastor, as celebrant.

Interment: St. Mary’s Cemetery Hermitage.
