- — A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 6, 2014, for Ann L. Hausser of 150 Waugh Ave., Apartment 3305, New Wilmington, passed away at 10:46 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 20, 2014, in Cleveland Clinic. She was 76.

Mrs. Hausser was born March 31, 1937, in Pleasant Lake, Ind., to Maurice Brooks and Doris Enfield Brooks.

She graduated as a registered nurse in 1959 from The Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing and was a nurse in the Baptist Homes in Castle Shannon.

Ann and her husband, Jack Hausser, whom she married Sept. 19, 1959, owned and operated the John Orr Guest House Bed and Breakfast from 1997 to 2007. He survives at the residence.

Also surviving are: two daughters, Amy Hausser, Columbia, S.C.; and Jessica, wife of Anthony Mormile, Simsbury, Conn.; a son, Timothy Hausser, Mercer; a sister, Emily, Arizona; a brother, David, Deltona, Fla.; and two grandsons, Michael Mormile and Jack Hausser.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
