George K. Yarian Jr.

Heavy equipment operator was Hickory High grad


---- — No calling hours or services have been scheduled for George K. Yarian Jr., 5263 E. State St., Hermitage. He passed away at 6:15 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2013, in Edison Manor in New Castle, from injuries suffered in a motorcycle accident in Hermitage in March. He was 68.

Mr. Yarian was born June 14, 1944, in Sharon, a son of George K. and Ann Dolata Yarian.

He was a 1962 graduate of Hickory High School, Hermitage

Mr. Yarian had worked for Local 66 of Operators & Engineers as a heavy equipment operator.

George enjoyed working on cars, riding his motorcycle, boating and watersports. He was of the Catholic faith.

He is survived by: two sons, Todd K. Yarian, and Mark S. Yarian and his wife Colleen, all Sharon; and two sisters, Mary Ann Zorzi and her husband Thomas, Hermitage; and Delores Milano, West Middlesex.

Also surviving are his four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents.
