Joseph C. Sanfilippo

HVAC project manager had daughter here

Joseph C. Sanfilippo, Meadowbrook Boulevard, New Castle, passed away Wednesday morning (9-25-13). He was 76.

He was born Nov. 7, 1936, in New Castle, a son of Joseph and Nellie Zazzarino Sanfilippo.

On Aug. 16, 1958, he married Patricia J. Treccase. She preceded him in death Sept. 26, 2009.

Following his graduation from New Castle High School, Joseph was employed with Pascoe Engineering as a draftsman.

He later became a project manager with both A&B Heating and Plumbing and Roth Brothers in Youngstown.

Joe enjoyed attending all his grandchildren’s sporting events, making him both a Neshannock Lancer and Sharpsville Blue Devil fan.

He attended St. Camillus Church, Neshannock.

Survivors include two daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and Richard Dombrosky of New Castle and Kimberly and Randy Chamberlain of Sharpsville; two sons and daughters-in-law, Vincent and Lisa Sanfilippo of Ashburn, Va., and James and Valerie Sanfilippo of New Castle; and 10 grandchildren.

In addition to his wife and parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Rosetta Roman.

Service: Blessing service will be 1 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home with the Rev. Thomas Lewandowski, pastor of St. Camillus Church, officiating.

Burial: St. Vitus Cemetery, New Castle.
