Kathryn L. Campbell

Private housekeeper worked 28 years for GCC

---- — Kathryn L. Campbell died at 11:43 p.m. Thursday (8-1-13) in her Grove City home following a seven-month illness. She was 83.

She was born Nov. 12, 1929, in Findley Township to Charles William and Edith E. Ritenour Campbell.

She retired Dec. 16, 1994, from Grove City College, where she worked in housekeeping for 28 years.  

Kathryn also was a housekeeper for many individuals in the Grove City area over the years.

She was a Protestant.

Kathryn enjoyed soap operas, the Pittsburgh Pirates, country music. She was a “mother” to everyone, especially to her nieces and nephews and she was a loyal friend to many and will be greatly missed.

Survivors include: a brother, Clarence A. “Duke” Campbell, Grove City; several nieces and nephews; and many close friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Kenneth Campbell.

Service: Funeral service at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday (8-6-13) in the funeral home with the Rev. Willard Morse, visitation pastor of Grace United Methodist Church, Grove City, officiating.

Burial: Crestview Memorial Park Inc., Pine Township.
