Farrell resident worked for Imperial Cleaners


- — Joyce M. King of Farrell died at 10:45 p.m. Thursday (12-19-13) in Nugent’s, Hermitage. She was 67.

She was born March 20, 1946, in Pittsburgh, a daughter of Richard and Ann Zigler Dixerson. She attended Westinghouse High School, Pittsburgh.

Ms. King was a presser for 25 years at Imperial Cleaners, Sharon.

She was a member of New Light Missionary Baptist Church, Sharon.

Ms. King is survived by a daughter, Charlyn King; and a son, Arthur King Jr., both Sharon. She is also survived by two sisters, Denise Dixerson, Detroit; and Teresa Dixerson, Columbus, Ohio; and nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Richard Dixerson.
