- — Barbara A. Kline of Jefferson Township passed away at 11:11 a.m. Saturday (12-21-13) in Allegheny General Hospital, Pittsburgh, after an extended illness. She was 50.

Born Nov. 22, 1963, in Grove City, she was a daughter of Edward L. and Dorothy R. Peters Coast.

She was a 1982 graduate of Lakeview High School and a graduate of the former Shenango Valley School of Business.

Mrs. Kline was of the Protestant faith.

She had worked as a bookkeeper and secretary for various local business including Upon This Rock Construction Co.

Most of all Barbara was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family, especially her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed going to their school activities and sporting events.

Barb was a loving and caring person and her presence will be missed.

She loved animals and raising many different kinds, from fish to turkeys; she also enjoyed gardening and growing flowers.

She married Brock L. Kline, June 20, 1981, and he survives at home.

Also surviving are: a daughter Amanda A. Kline, Mercer; three sons: Brock L. Kline Jr. and his companion Kara Royer, Eric L. Kline and his wife Holly, and Nicholas A. Kline, all Mercer; 13 grandchildren; her parents, Ed and Dorothy Coast, Stoneboro; and two sisters, Shari Slater and her husband James, Sandy Lake, and Angela Amon and her husband Terry, Stoneboro.

She was preceded in death by an infant son, Jason Allen Kline.

Memorial contributions may be made to the family through the funeral home to help defray expenses.

Funeral: Noon Tuesday (12-24-13) in the funeral home with the Rev. Jim Arbogast, family friend, officiating.

Interment: Oak Hill Cemetery, Sandy Lake Township.
