Pamela S. Myers of Stoneboro passed away at 8:20 p.m. Saturday (12-21-13) in Kindred Hospital, Beaver, after a long, courageous battle with lung cancer. She was 53.
Born April 4, 1960, in Meadville, she was a daughter of Robert J. and Janet M. Jessell Urey.
She was a 1978 graduate of Lakeview High School.
In earlier years she worked for Gander Plumbing and Heating, Stoneboro, and Iron City Sash and Door, Sandy Lake, and for the last 25 years was working for Flexospan, Sandy Lake.
She was of the Catholic faith.
She enjoyed watching football and NASCAR but, most of all, Pam loved the time she spent with her family, especially her grandchildren.
She married Thomas L. Myers July 22, 1978, and he survives at home.
Also surviving are: two sons, Jason T. Myers, Stoneboro, and Greg A Myers, New Castle; two granddaughters: Cheyane Myers, Sandy Lake, and Amiah Myers, Stoneboro; her father Bob Urey, Sandy Lake; five sisters, Patricia L. “Patty” Miles and husband George, New Castle; Cynthia L. “Cindy” Robison and husband Brian, Hermitage; Beth A. Snyder and husband Jeff, Greenville; Robin U. Hilborn and husband Kevin, The Woodlands, Texas; and Catherine J. Safran and husband Greg, Fombell, Pa; two brothers: Robert J. Urey Jr. and wife Dana, Sandy Lake; and John T. Urey and wife Sheila, Stoneboro; and several loving nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her mother and a niece, Meghan DeAnn Urey.
