Mary Oluich

Masury woman was homemaker


- — Funeral services will be Tuesday for Mary Oluich of Masury, who passed away early Friday morning, Jan. 10, 2014, in the hospital of Sharon Regional Health System following a period of declining health. She was 74.

Miss Oluich was born March 21, 1939, in Masury, a daughter of Steve and Mary (Hajduk) Oluich.

She was an alumna of Brookfield High School and spent her lifetime being a devoted homemaker and sister to her family.  She was a very kind and generous person and enjoyed spending time listening to her radio.

Miss Oluich is survived her longtime friends Michele Coon of Hermitage, Jim Coon of Sharon, and several cousins.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents; eight brothers, Sam, Leonard, Bozo, Michael, John, Eli, Nicholas and Robert; and by her sister, Margaret Coller.

Service: Funeral services at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday (1-14-14) in the funeral home with the Rev. Milovan Katanic of St. George Serbian Orthodox Church officiating.

Burial: Mary will be laid to rest with her brothers at Brookfield Township Cemetery.
