Michael J. Rogan Jr.

Army veteran retired from Packard Electric


---- — Michael J. Rogan Jr. of Hermitage passed away at 7:50 p.m. Wednesday, July 31, 2013, in UPMC Horizon Farrell, after an extended illness. He was 82.

Mr. Rogan was born March 22, 1931, in Farrell to Michael and Anna Sabo Rogan.

He graduated from Farrell High School in 1949.

Michael served active duty in the U.S Army from Oct. 23, 1952, to Oct. 22, 1954, and in the U.S. Army Reserves through 1959.

On Feb. 18, 1952, he married his wife, Mary Ann Dohallow, who preceded him in death in December 1995.

He was a retiree of Delphi Packard Electric Systems, Warren, Ohio.

An avid golfer, he also enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Mr. Rogan is survived by: two daughters, Rhonda Sadaghiani and her husband Shahrzad, Avon Lake, Ohio; and Laura Egley and her husband Richard, Irvine Calif.; two sons, Ronald Rogan and his wife Debra, Jamestown; and Thomas Rogan and his companion Pamela McKinnon, Hubbard; six grandchildren, Sara O’Dell, Derek Rogan, Shireen Sadaghiani, Kurt Rogan, Nicole Holland, and Brooke Egley; and a great-grandchild, Connor Holland.

He is also survived by three sisters, Anna Mae Dalessandro, Hermitage; Mardella Stewart, Sharon; and Phyllis Rogan, Sharpsville; and a brother, Pete Rogan, Warren, Ohio.

Besides his wife, Michael was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters, Betty Milich and Shirley Dogan.
