BOULDER CITY, Nev. – A funeral service will be held Friday for Paul A. Bell of Boulder City, formerly of Crestwood Drive NE, Brookfield. He passed away peacefully at 9:18 p.m. Friday, March 21, 2014, in The Homestead at Boulder City after a brief illness. He was 97.
Mr. Bell was born May 26, 1916, in Hermitage, a son of George A. and Dorothy Bailey Bell.
He had worked as a truck repairman and group leader at Ford Motor Co. in Walton Hills, Ohio, retiring in 1978.
Paul was a member of Local 420 of United Auto Workers, Walton Hills, and had been a member of the former German Home in Farrell.
He was of the Baptist faith.
His wife, the former Dorothy Rowlands, whom he married Feb. 14, 1940, died in 1979.
He is survived by a son, Thomas A. Bell and his wife Judy, Boulder City; two grandchildren and a great-grandchild; a sister-in-law, Dolores Rowlands, Sharpsville; and several nieces and nephews.
Besides his wife, Paul was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Betty Dambacher.
