Thomas Allen Rupert

Army vet was policeman, sold insurance

Thomas Allen Rupert of 197 Franklin Road, Coolspring Township (Mercer), passed away at 1:09 a.m. Monday, April 1, 2013, in Grove City Medical Center, Pine Township. He was 66.

Mr. Rupert was born Nov. 15, 1946, in Greensburg to John and Anna Sekora Rupert.

He was a graduate of Geneva College, Beaver Falls.

Mr. Rupert was a police officer, worked in insurance sales and was a U.S.. Army veteran.

He was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in Mercer and was active in the Mercer Jaycees and Boy Scouts, where he completed the Wood Badge course.

His wife, the former Nancy Black, whom he married July 12, 1971, survives at the residence.

He also leaves: a daughter, Denise Rupert and her husband Joseph Dolheimer, State College, Pa.; two sons, Keith Rupert, Manchester, N.H.; and Tim Rupert and his wife Cindy, Ravenswood, W.Va.; his mother, Anna Ceconi; and a sister, Dolores, wife of John Kennemuth, all Brookville, Pa.; a brother, Ron Rupert, Michigan; and five grandchildren.

Thomas was preceded in death by his father and stepfather, Lou Ceconi.


Thomas Allen, 66, of 197 Franklin Road, Coolspring Township.
