WARREN, Ohio -- Helen Belko of Howland, Ohio, passed away and went to be with her Lord on Good Friday, March 29, 2013, in St. Joseph Health Center in Warren. She was 75.

Mrs. Belko was born April 18, 1937, in Newton Falls, Ohio, the daughter of Charles and Anna Cuprick Zimomra.

She was a 1955 graduate of Newton Falls High School and a homemaker.

She enjoyed putting together jigsaw puzzles and cooking. Her greatest joy was being a mother and grandmother.

Helen was preceded in death by her parents; her son, John Belko; her son-in-law, William Burke; and her four brothers and two sisters.

Survivors include her loving husband, Fred Belko Sr., whom she married Feb. 1, 1958; three children, Stephen Belko and his wife Connie, Champion; Kathy Burke, Niles, Ohio; and Fred Belko Jr. and his wife Donna, Hermitage; her daughter-in-law, Stephanie Belko, Tipp City, Ohio; six grandchildren, Jessica Ciufi and her husband Dan, Melissa Vodhanel and her husband Dan; and Stephanie, Kristen, Craig and Zander Belko; a stepgrandchild, Arie Curtiss; three great-grandchildren, Norah Ciufi, Dominic Gottuso and Connor Vodhanel; and a stepgreat-grandchild, Ember.

Her sister, Sandra Gretton of Mesa, Ariz., also survives.

Service: Funeral services at 6 p.m. Wednesday in the funeral chapel.
