Delphi quality rep enjoyed golf, tennis, Florida travels


---- — Larry S. Detelich of Masury passed away at 4:15 p.m. Wednesday, April 3, 2013, in University of Pittsburgh Medical Center after a period of declining health. He was 64.

Mr. Detelich was born June 14, 1948, in Sharon, a son to Joseph P. and Evelyn Ghizzoni Detelich.

A 1966 graduate of Brookfield High School, he furthered his education, earning a bachelor degree in business administration in 1971 at Youngstown State University.

He retired from Delphi Packard Electric Systems, Warren, Ohio, after a career of more than 30 years, last holding the title of quality representative.

Larry was a former member of St. Bernadette’s Church, Masury.

In his spare time, he enjoyed golfing, playing tennis, traveling to Florida and spending time with his family and friends.

Survivors include his brother, Robert M. Detelich and his wife Linda, Hubbard; his nephew, Scott Michael Detelich, Columbus, Ohio; his niece, Lisa Marie Gadberry, Bryant, Texas; and his extended family.

His parents preceded him in death.

Calling hours: A gathering will be held from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday (4-8-13) in BRICELAND FUNERAL SERVICE LLC, 397 state Route 7 SE, Brookfield.

Service: Private prayer service for his family and close friends on Tuesday (4-9-13).
