Brookfield man, NASCAR fan worked at Wean United


---- — Harry Thomas Stitt of Brookfield died Friday morning, Sept. 20, 2013, in O’Brien Memorial Nursing Home, Masury. He was 79.

Mr. Stitt was born May 1, 1934, in Youngstown, a son of Edgar A. and Hannah T. Stitt, and was a lifelong Brookfield resident.

He served with the Army and was a press operator for Wean United in Youngstown for 30 years.

Mr. Stitt was a member of Hubbard Church of the Nazarene.

He enjoyed watching NASCAR.

His wife, the former Lois E. Clark, whom he married May 11, 1957, died March 3, 2009.

He leaves a son, Harry T. Stitt Jr., Hubbard; and a sister, Marilyn Garnack, Brookfield.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a son, Keith Stitt.
