— Bonnie J. Crytzer, 71, of 166 Hahn Lane, Oil City, died Monday (9-23-13) at UPMC Hamot in Erie. She was 71.

Born Sept. 17, 1942, in Sharon, she was a daughter of Ivan P. and Margaret I. Bailey Leidy.

Bonnie graduated in 1960 from Sharon High School and then in 1963 from the Allegheny Valley Hospital School of Nursing.

She worked as a registered nurse at various hospitals, retiring in 1996 from UPMC Northwest.

Bonnie enjoyed the fiber arts of spinning and weaving, and also raised sheep for the production of fiber.

She enjoyed many creative crafts such as basket weaving, soap and candle making, stained glass and loved gardening and her pets. Bonnie was a member of the Northwest PA Spinners and Weavers Guild.

On June 29, 1963, she married James E. Crytzer, who survives.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by two sisters, Carol A. McKnight and companion Bill Bickerton, Masury; and Noreen M. Owen and her husband Phil,  Jamestown; and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Thomas A. Leidy.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Multiple Sclerosis Society.
